Baptism-

When I am Baptized

I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain
and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again.

I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.

I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away
and I can be forgiven and improve myself each day.

I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.

Carter has made the decision to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we couldn't be happier about his decision.  I am so proud of you buddy!

He was a little sad that family is so far away so he wanted to go to Toguchi Beach and take some pictures of where he will be getting baptized so you will feel included.

Fun fact- He will be getting baptized in the East China Sea.

Anyone that lives close enough to come is welcome to be there for this special event.

April 1, 2012
Toguchi Beach, Okinawa Japan
4:00 P.M.- 5:00 P.M.

There will be light refreshments served directly after he gets confirmed.

I asked Carter why he wanted to be baptized and his answer was, "Mom, I want to be baptized so that I can be more like Jesus. It's kind of important!" You're absolutely right Carter and we are so happy you have made this great decision.

Cowboys and Indians

Cowboys and Indians with homemade bow and arrows and sharpened sticks is NOT A GOOD IDEA!

It could result in injuries to the body and FACE!

Off to the ER we went for the second time in a month. I was smart though and kept him in the same bloody shirt that he was wearing. I have to say it definitely sped up the ER visit. We were brought back right away. They were worried that it was so close to his eye. They didn't know it if had hit a tear duct and examined him really close before they did anything permanent. Taylor was a total trooper.

They came in with a syringe full of water to help clean it out. It was just like a hole. Poor buddy!

Here is Taylor showing off him monthly bracelet. We have had a string of bad luck with this little dude lately. We went to the ER last month for a broken collar bone and now a bow and arrow to the face. It has just NOT been his month. This being said we sure have LOVED the special bonding time together. There is nothing like mandatory time to get to know your little buddy a bit better. We had fun laughing and joking about all sorts of funny topics. Including the punishment for Carter and Noah for shooting him. I thought a spanking was good, but Taylor thought we needed to send them to jail. He also thought death sounded like a decent punishment for such a crime. This really got us both giggling. The best suggestion of the night was when the Doctor suggested that we bury them both in sand and cover them with Habu snakes.

I sure love my Taylor.

The Doctors came in and were a little worried about stitches so close to his eye. They gave him a shot and he WIGGED OUT. It took 5 people holding him down to numb up the spot. After the stress of that they opted for "liquid stitches." Here is the Doctor glueing his hole shut. lol. He said to Taylor he needed his to stay still while he glued his eye shut and Taylor's eyes shot opened as he said, "But if you glue my eye shut I won't be able to open it." The Doctor quickly explained he was just glueing his hole shut which got me giggling like a teenager. It was just funny how he said it. :)

Beach Fun

Alright- So I have been totally slacking on the blog lately. I guess I have just been busy trying to prepare for Rhett to Deploy and cleaning out closets. I am shocked at all the crap that we have that we never use. It is time to get rid of some major junk. I can't promise that I will do better at blogging, but I just uploaded a lot of pictures so I will try to catch up.

The night before the big boys left we headed to the beach for some exploring. It was so beautiful and we even got to watch the sunset. We truly live in a gorgeous place.

I thought it was too cold to play in the water so I didn't put swimsuits on the kids. I guess they thought it was perfect for running through the waves and proved that they don't need a swimsuit... clothes work just fine! :)

We helped Tom find all sorts of fun hermit crabs and shells to take home. Here Hunter is showing me the one that he found. What good little finders I have.

Again, Tom and David.... we had such a great time with you. Thanks for coming to see us. We LOVE visitors and everyone is welcome to come over here. :)

Brothers Unite

The three Olsen boys took a tour called the Battle of Okinawa together.

I just cracked up looking at all the fun pictures they took together. What funny guys. I wish I could tell you about all the pictures and what they were doing, but I wasn't there. Rhett said he will get back on and post about it when he has a few minutes to spare, but for now you'll just have to enjoy the pictures.

I don't know about you, but to me it looks like they had a blast together!

Okinawa World

We swapped up the Okinawa tour for the boys when they came. We decided to try out a new place and hit up Okinawa World. LOVED IT!!! They had this great cave with all sorts of stalagmites. It was really fun to walk through with the kids. Tom and Dave had a good time too, I hope! :)

We stopped to get a few photos with the Shisa Dog.

I feel like my boys are amazingly good looking. They are also the sweetest little guys in the world. I don't know what I did to get to be their Mommy, but I am so thankful for each of them everyday. They melt my heart and I LOVE their little individual personalities they each possess.

We snuck Carter out of school for the day to come and play with us. It's not everyday that your uncles come all the way to Japan for a visit.
This little stinky pink is my little Johnson. He is so funny right now and I just enjoy his sense of humor. He is very much my teaser and I love to watch him play with his brothers.

Hunter loves to come and and tell me that me and Taylor have brown eyes and the rest of the family has blue like Daddy. He is quite the little observant stinker lately. He loves to talk and sometimes I wish I had earplugs in because he can go on forever, but I will miss that sweet little voice so I try to listen very intently to EVERYTHING he has to say!

The whole group in front of the ship. :) Please try to ignore my hair. I actually did it that day, but the humidity from the cave did wild things to it.

Ryker is my little poser. He and Hunter LOVE to get their pictures taken and always say, "Let me see it." after I have snapped it.

It is bitter sweet how fast they are growing up. I want to press pause and just enjoy them at this age a little longer.

After the snake show they let us hold this python. It was really HEAVY. The boys thought it was so cool. We also enjoyed watching a sea snake race a mongoose or something. They had a couple habu snakes and a really cool cobra. It was fun to watch, but I will leave the playing with snakes to someone else.

Tom holding the python. David doesn't love snakes and did not feel the need to have it around his neck.

We played so hard for several hours and it was funny to watch all the kids pass out the entire way home. What a relaxing drive back it was.

We had a lot of fun here and I can say we will probably have to take Rhett back to see the cave and snakes.

We had such a great time with Tom and David here and can't wait until we see everyone this Summer.
