Hiji Falls

One of our last activities we did while on the island was to take Rhett to Hiji Falls.

I had taken the boys earlier in the year while Rhett was deployed, but we needed a fun activity.

I love when my kids dress themselves. I was cracking up at Taylor's long socks and tennis shoes. What a nut.

Quick break to toss the football around.

Hunter always has the craziest facial expressions. What a little turd ball.

Fun fact- Japanese people LOVE their naps and can often be found sleeping in the oddest places. We happened to be hiking to the falls during nap time. lol. I'm surprised they were able to sleep through my loud crowd of kids.

Overall it was a pretty fun day hiking with the kids. I had packed a fun little picnic that we were able to eat along the trail. It was pretty hot though and the spiders were ridiculous! YUCK.

Like Father Like Son

Carter had an activity at school to dress as what he wants to be when he grows up. Obviously he chose to be a dentist. We went to Rhett's office and he HOOKED HIM UP! :)

Carter was so excited he decided to he needed to practice on a real patient. I'm just glad Rhett only gave him a mirror or Hunter might have had some crazy work done in his mouth.

Dr. Olsen. (mini version)

Just playing in the backyard with my buddy-

My little boys LOVE to play outside. They are usually in trees, jumping on the trampoline, or catching creatures. I went outside and saw Taylor playing and thought I would run and grab the camera.

He was just loving the one on one attention.

Playing in his fort.

I love being a Mom more than anything in the world and I absolutely love the little moments in life that I can just love on one of my babies.

Basketball Season

That may be the cutest little face I have ever seen. He is such a doll. He actually liked basketball this year. Yay. The only problem is that he is so tiny and can barely shoot the ball up to the hoop. :)

Taylor was one lucky duck and had the opportunity to have his daddy as a coach this last year. He loved it. Rhett was gone for a big chunk of it AGAIN, but it was nice to have him there to help Taylor.

When he shoots he really has to use all his strength to push that ball up there. :) He sort of looks like he's flying.

Taylor was the cutest little player ever. Carter LOVED it this year. He had a great coach and really improved this year. I was one proud mommy.

He totally just made this shot.

They each had an end of the year party. Taylor met at the food court and Carter had a bowling party.

Team Dental- aka... Taylor's team. The three coaches were all dentists at the clinic. Dr. Smith, Dr. Jenks, and Dr. Olsen. They were all so great with the boys. This is a hard age to coach. lol

I'm not sure where I put Carter's pictures at the moment, but here are Taylor's team photos.

Okuma- Spring Break

After Neo Park we made our way up to Okuma for some beach fun together.

I feel like the very second that we got there the kids hit the water. Fabi and I enjoyed some refreshing drinks on the beach while watching them jump off of everything they could.

Little boys. It never gets old.

Taylor jumped in and the wind made him freezing. The twins put him in the middle to warm him back up. The water was a little chilly for Fabi and I. We preferred to stay dry on the beach.

I love this picture. My little ones are surely growing up fast. It is bittersweet. It is fun to see them enjoying new things, but I miss the tiny baby deal. They needed me for everything. They are so independent now.

I loved Japan so much and truly miss the beauty of island life now that we are back in the states.

Nothing better than spending time with one of your best friends. Great conversation and lots of fun. Watching the kids play and have a blast together and just enjoying life!

That night we rewarded our awesomeness with a large steak. Yum. It was so good. Nothing better. The kids had really warn themselves out and fell asleep shortly after dinner.

I woke up early the next morning with the five boys and entertained them while Fabi got a little sleep. We started with mini golf. Watching the twins cracks me up. I think we all could freshen up on our golf skills though. :)

We then rode bikes until she woke up for breakfast. It was such a fun little mini vacation.
