Ice Skating with Daddy

I took the kids ice skating while Rhett was deployed and it was such a hit that Santa left tickets under the tree to go back again. It was a little more packed over Christmas break, but everyone had a great time showing Daddy their moves.

Holding on to the side of the rink for support.

We did rent a chair for a little while and had fun pushing each other around the ice.

Family photo- Nice to have the whole group together again!

Love how patient Rhett is with the little ones. He had fun teaching Carter how to turn and skate backwards and had fun holding Taylor's hand.

I'm not going to lie- The boy has skills. His balance was so much better than mine.

Watch out Carter-

My sweet  munchkins taking a little break from skating to warm up. Their little fingers got so cold from falling on the ice in their mittens. Taylor did ask me if I could trade him gloves for awhile and they were just soaked through. Poor  monkeys.

Reunited with their hero- They are stuck on him like glue!

This picture makes me smile. He was dropping Taylor off so that he could focus and play with Carter. Taylor wanted a goodbye kiss. :)

Taylor's Birthday Bash

Alright, now that I finished Carter's birthday I will move right on to Taylor's. :)

I asked him what kind of cake he wanted and he wanted to make small heart cakes so that everyone would have the chance to decorate their own. So that is exactly what we did. It was super messy and completely AWESOME! He is seriously such a sweetheart and is always thinking about others. He melts my heart.

They all turned out very well and were completely LOADED with frosting. lol.

Earlier that day- I let him pick anywhere on the island he wanted to go to celebrate and just like the year before he chose pineapple park. lol. We decided to make it a day full of adventures and do as many fun things as we could. :) It was a blast.

They always love riding the pineapple golf cart through the park. It's fun to see them growing. :)

Their favorite part. Eating all the delicious samples and pineapple. Yummy!!

They were all very well behaved and remembered to say please and thank you. It made me one very happy Mommy! :) I sure love my little guys.

Carter's 1st Zip Lining Adventure-

Yikes, I was just downloading pictures from our recent trip and noticed that I am SO FAR BEHIND. Rhett won't let me post the stories and pictures from the trip until he gets back from his training so that gives me 2 1/2 weeks to catch up before he gets home.

So here goes-

For Carter's birthday this year he got tickets to Forest Adventure to go zip lining with Mom and Dad. He has been waiting to do this for two years and is finally tall enough to go. He was a lot of fun to have with us. He was so brave and wasn't scared at all.

When we got there we had to wait about 20 minutes to put on our harnesses because North Korea decided to launch a missile towards the island. Our military was ready to shoot it down if they needed to, but instead it just shot right over us and landed over by Guam or something. Still makes me nervous.

Anyway-

Just waiting with Daddy to get all hooked up!

Hopping through the net.

He had such a blast. He has asked several times to go back. It was so fun.

Daddy-

Mommy-

Rhett heading up the latter to the last zip line!

Getting ready to head over a board bridge. He was a little nervous, but did such a great job. He made us so proud all day long!

We absolutely love when we get to spend one on one time with the kids. It is such fun bonding. I love making memories with the boys and hope that they love it as much.

For a special bonus we let Carter pick where to eat lunch together after we finished zip lining. He picked Chilis. :) That's my boy!!!
