Day 4, maybe?

We had another really cold day. I'm still not totally convinced that the weather didn't follow Melanie here... but even so I guess it was worth it to get to see her! It was a Saturday so we decided to go see the movie "Megamind" with the kids. It was actually a pretty funny movie. The kids loved it and we bought some popcorn and drinks so it was a fun treat.

After the movie we went over to the bowling alley to play. The kids did GREAT. I was so proud of Carter. He is getting pretty good at throwing the ball. I think I was the most impressed by Melanie though. Who knew she could bowl so well. I think she must be practicing with Tiffanie at home or something. It was a great break from the stormy weather. Melanie bought everyone pizza after the game so that was REALLY fun. I didn't have to cook. I bet she did it because my cooking is so bad that we took every break from it that we could. :)

Ryker carrying his ball over.

Melanie showing us how to do it!

Poor Hunter had got a fat lip the day before from falling on the ground. Earlier that morning he got his finger squished in the front door then while we were bowling he got the same sore finger squished between a couple bowling balls. Poor baby!!! It was just not his day!

He still managed to have a good time when it was his turn though. What a sweetheart!

My little ROCK STAR! He got the lowest score out of the kids, BUT he was the only one throwing the ball by himself and not just rolling it down the arch. Good Job Carter!

Poor Taylor went to pick up his ball and was screwing around with it... he then fell off the step and the ball landed right on his belly. It was a pretty rough day for the kids. I was glad that Grandma was there to help us comfort the sweet little twerps.

Below is a video of Melanie bowling. Rhett had gone right before and called out his strike. He ended up hitting only 7 with a wicked split. Then, Melanie called out a strike for herself--- see for yourself!

Don't forget to push the pause button on the music in the top right corner so you can hear the video-

Oh and just for the record NOT ONE OF US scored over 100 points. Sad!!! :)
